Manuel Casasnovas

I was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to two parents who are far too good to me. I am the oldest of three boys. Family is very important to me. It is also the first team I have ever been on.

I went to high school at Colegio Ponceño. After graduating from high school, I decided to go to Carnegie Mellon to study Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. I assumed I wanted to be an engineer because both my parents are engineers and because I love math, but I was wrong. Three years I switched to a Social Psychology/Business Administration double major, and I have never looked back.

Outside of school, I have always enjoyed playing and watching sports. I never miss a Packers game, and I also try to watch as many Mets games as I can. I also love to travel whenever I get the chance. My goal is to visit every country at least once in my lifetime. Last but not least, I like to be very up-to-date on current news. Whether it’s politics, the economy, or even the latest trends, I try to make sure I can keep up with this fast-moving world.

Now, I am set to graduate this May. Having some time on my hands, I decided to take up this website and other projects to advance as a professional. I am still open to job offers, so please contact me if you find my skill set useful for your company. My intentions for this website are not solely to create an online resume, but also post some of my takes on what is going on in the world, as well as some more lighthearted pieces.

Thank you for stopping by!
